Why do I see a green square when looking at certain Flash videos in my browsing?

I have the .207 SHockwave update and when I am trying to look at some Flash videos in Firefox all I see is a green rectangle where the video should be. The sound plays great but no video although I can see the preview thumbnails.

Green screens for Flash video can be caused by an incompatibility between the Flash plugin and your current graphics card/chipset driver software. The standard workaround is to disable Flash from using hardware acceleration (if no updates are available for your graphics drivers, or if they make it worse).
