Full Screen doesn't work

Either using View, Full Screen or F11. When I do either, the blue color of the bar at the top changes to a white color, but it doesn't disappear like normal. I just reinstalled Firefox after noticing this problem. Suggestions? Should I un-install / re-install instead?

Try to rename/remove the xulstore.json file in the Firefox profile folder.

You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:


Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
  • Do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
