When will password sync work with Master Password enabled?

Looking at some old threads my understanding was that a solution was being worked on to enable passwords to sync even with the Master Password enabled on both Desktop and Mobile versions of Firefox. Clearly we aren't there yet - I have to disable the MP on the phone, disconnect the FF account and sign back in to get my passwords to sync. That works but it's a pain. Any sign of a solution coming down the line?
