I have several email accounts set up on the same computer (all in thunderbird). As far as I can see the settings for all of them are the same. I have html email signature set up for each account, and all except one account receives and displays these correctly as html. This one account displays them as plain text. I have gone through all the account settings and there is no difference on the offending account. Can anyone help please?

Do you perhaps use this account to communicate with particular correspondents? Is it possible those specific correspondents are listed in your Address Book as preferring plain text email?

Thanks the problem was that in my address book that specific email address was set to prefer plain text. I had forgotten that the address book had that option. Thanks again.
