I need to reinstall my Linux Mint, therfore also Thunderbird. How can I save the adresses and all my messages (copy and past in new Thunderbird after install)

Thank you for your suggestion. I have installed Linux Mint 17.1 with the Thunderbird and everything I had installed was still there. So, I didn´t need these mesures. Thanks anyway.
