Urgent - Heartbleed add on now saying googlemail and mozilla add on page vunerable
Installed the add on a few days ago Just logged into googlemail and screen is covered by the heartbleed logo Went to the add on page - screen covered by heartbleed logo Went to log on to support and it didn't recognise my login - had to request a new password (but then not logged into this site for a log time) This page is fine (no heartbleed) Should I be worried - is it a glitch or something worse.....

You can check the connection settings.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > Network : Connection > Settings
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Options+window+-+Advanced+panel
If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.
See "Firefox connection settings":
It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Thanks for the reply - but I don't think it was my settings/connection It was working fine for a couple of days and just started yesterday afternoon - and now is not doing it... I guess it depends on how the add on knows a site is vulnerable or not... does it do a test on the site or or does it refer to a database etc and if there was a problem with the database? I'm not going to fiddle just yet - as it is working now -but made me a bit nervous Thanks again ...
