Only some Favicons are showing up on my bookmark toolbar. (reddit and facebook are, google and amazon arent)

Do you mean that you lost Bookmarks or only the favicons of those bookmarks?

Did you backup your profile data before reformatting the computer if that is what you did (I just reformated)?

If you restore bookmarks from a JSON backup the you need to use the bookmark to make Firefox retrieve the favicon.
This won't work if you are in Private Browsing mode. So, make sure that you do not run Firefox in (permanent) Private Browsing mode.

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
  • Deselect: [ ] "Always use private browsing mode"
