Red button at the top of the browser not displaying in Firefox 4.0.1

Some the "Help" tutorials tell and/or show you to click on a red button that is supposed to be at the top of your browser but it has never existed since I downloaded and setup this Firefox 4.0.1 last week. I have never used Firefox on this PC. What is going on?

The new interface is only default on Windows Vista and Windows 7. To get it on Windows XP you need to hide the menu bar. To do that in the View menu select Toolbars, then click on the "Menu Bar" entry.

If you need access to the menus you can press either Alt or F10 to temporarily display them.
