For two days will tab crash for TikTok. For years, will not allow access to certain sites and no contest entries for the last few months. Worked before. No phone help and to download the browser doesn't work. I was upset as won't load TIktok and I NEED IT as use it daily. Please fix it ASAP!! I wasted time contacting Monzilla, as was only link for Firefox. They told me no help wasted today.

We're sorry to hear that Firefox is crashing. In order to assist you better, please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A list of Submitted (and Unsubmitted, if any) Crash Reports will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Submitted Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.

Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

Try to start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to see if that works.


You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be careful. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose, make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website, data for that website will be saved once again.

1. Your link for the Crash Test was not valid. Please fix it asap, as my TikTok class is on one hour and I missed Monday. It hates interactivity, but PalTalk, a video chat App works video there. Just no Tiktok and URGENT to fix today. It plays "Lives" fairly well (crashes maybe every hour), but it crases a LOT on Random videos. Also DOES NOT WORK NOW and I spent HOURS can no longer enter my radio station contest, as is black, or also crashes A LOT - very good prizes, so I do them daily and no issue until last 1-2 months. I don't want two browsers open, so I WILL not keep it open for that and it's so strange, no TikTok either, displays loo, but white page. For years, that is what Firefox did too. Can't log into my Utility Company, but was URGENT to take a screen capture to email someone. Still can't. Wasted HOURS calling them - Firefox issue. It is not just TikTok.

2. Thanks, but I can't lose my many automated log-ins, like Bank. I can't delete Firefox then re-install it - too many and my TikTok class starts soon. It plays "Lives" on TikTok, but crashes a LOT on random videos.

You can check the connection settings and check for possible issues with a Proxy or VPN service.

  • Settings -> General -> Network: Connection -> Settings

If you do not need to use a Proxy to connect to internet, select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

Not the issue. I wasted two days and hours of my time with my ISP and not the issue and is YOUR issue they said. I keep telling you to CALL ME to trouble-shoot and get it working. STILL, urgent, can't log in my Utility Co., contests or TikTok and my class there is almost DAILY, so I missed a few, not impressed. A few "Lives" allow me to stay for a while, but only about 3-5 random video. Now ONE WEEK none. Fix it NOW!
