Cannot access one of my online bank accounts using Firefox.
Starting today, I cannot access my online bank account at Wells Fargo using Firefox (yesterday, I could). I can access this account using another browser and I can still access another online bank account using Firefox. I tried clearing the cookies cache, but no joy there. TIA for any help on this matter.

No, I'll try that.
Resetting Firefox resolved the issue. However I no longer have the bookmarks icon on my toolbar and can't figure out how to get it back. Any suggestions?
I was premature in declaring the problem solved. When I went back the second time to log into my online bank account, I can't login. So, I did a reset on Firefox and was once again able to login to the bank account, but when I tried it a second time, once again nothing happens. I've tried this twice with the same result. Any suggestions?
If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, DuckDuckGo PE, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.
- make sure your extensions and filters are updated to the latest version

Firefox shows a purple shield instead of a gray shield at the left end of the location/address bar in case Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking content. You can click shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection. You can check the Web Console for relevant-looking messages about blocked content.

You can try these steps in case of issues with webpages:
You can reload webpage(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Settings).
"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:
- Settings -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Data"
"Clear the Cache":
- Settings -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> [X] Cached Web Content -> Clear

- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache
Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or userChrome.css is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window
I turned off hardware acceleration and tried the other suggestions. No joy. The only thing that works is to do a reset and then I can access my Wells Fargo online account one time only. Then I have to do a reset before I can access it again. Unless someone has a solution, I'll be using another browser to gain access to my account.
Hi
What happens when you try to sign into that site? Is there an error message?
After I enter my username and password and click on the Signon button, nothing happens.
Try to upload a screenshot to show the issue. Make sure to block out personal info.
what the screen shot would show is a username entry line, a password entry line, and a Signon button which after clicked remains static.
Today, without doing anything different on my part, I am now able to access my Wells Fargo online banking account using Firefox browser. Which tells me the problem had to do with the Wells Fargo site. Thanks for everyone's help in trying to resolve this issue for me.
Mark it as resolved and have a good day.
