Firefox logon Password Error on one device
After changing my gmail password and deleting some old Firefox logons I am now unable to sign in to Firefox from my laptop. The password and Sync works on my desktop and Android devices. I am 100% certain that the password is correct, but Firefox says wrong password. I have tried uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling. But, the new installation is with all of the old password data. I have also tried to change the Firefox password on the Desktop installation, but here I run into the same issue, I cannot change the password, as Firefox tells me the existing password is incorrect. Can anyone help? This is the first time I have ever experienced performance issues with Firefox, my goto browser.

Well, the good thing is that you are on Win10. As such, Win10 works hard to copy your data from FF to Edge browser.
The edge browser also has syncing functionality. So with a little wisdom, you could use Edge as a tool to maintain your FF data across devices.
But before we go into that, try creating a new profile on the latop. Then see if you can sync that virgin profile via your FF account.
To create new profile go to url below and then click on the "create" button on the profile page:

Did you check what password is stored in Lockwise ?
You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").
using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.
If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data for that website will be saved once again.
