firefox won't load after an update

I just installed an update that indicated that FF would restart and restore any current activity upon completion. The update installed but FF never restarted, let alone restored. In task manager, I can see it running in the background but it will not restart. I uninstalled and reinstalled a clean copy to no avail. This is the last straw in an never ending stream of FF bugs. in the past year. You guys used to have the best browser but lately it is just a pain in the ass.

Many have reported issues using the 64bit Firefox. Install the 32bit version from; Download Firefox For All languages And Systems {web link}
