Bookmarks Not Working After Update

After the update my book marks will only show recent book marks. My previous folders that were set up and used for years can only be used if I open bookmarks sidebar toolbar which will show the folders and bookmarks in the proper order I had them for years. This new Mozilla might have great features but this one is a big problem as I have read some things others have gone through.

can you drag/drop the "star on a tray" icon to a place on the toolbar where you'd like to see it when you go to the firefox menu ≡ > customize... panel?

Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars

hi, the following steps should get you back to the bookmarking structure you're familiar with :))

  • click on the 57 library icon library icon and go to bookmarks > bookmarking tools > add bookmarks menu to the toolbar.
  • now when you click the Bookmark Menu icon (star on tray) icon that's newly appearing on the toolbar, you'll get to the same bookmarks menu like in earlier versions...

Thank you for a detailed answer but there is no add bookmarks menu to the tool bar. See what I have after clicking bookmarking tools.
