Why did Avast remove the "Free Memory" add-on?
I have the "Free Memory" add-on on a couple of my computers, but on one of my computers I'm using Avast free antivirus. The other day it complained about "Free Memory" and said some users had had trouble with it and Avast insisted on removing it. What is that all about? Is it dangerous? Can I get it back?
The data from the troubleshooter won't be accurate about the computer that was messed with. If that's a problem, I can update this question from that computer. I just don't happen to be using that one right now.

Ask Avast.
Personally, I don't think anyone here knows more about Avast than the next contributor does, but it's worth a shot waiting for someone to reply.
If Avast pulled the add-on, they must have a pretty damn good reason to do so. If they did pull it for some security issue, I wouldn't go scouring the Internet looking for it.
