my son was making the page smaller so he could read information and type at the same time but when he tried opening the property right click thing to add the stuff back also my foreword and back buttons are also gone.

You might have to place your mouse courser very very carefully but I would try and get it as close to the bar at the to of your screen (right under it) and RIGHT click and check the option for your location bar.
