How to control site position when loading multiple images?
When opening long sites with multiple images (a forum topic, for instance), when I scroll to see a certain place on the site, like some text, the loading pictures always bump me away from the place.
How can I make FF hold on to my position on the site and keep loading the pictures above and below that place? Can it first load the picture sizes and reserve the needed space on the site or just somehow not require me to struggle to keep reading my text?
If this is not possible now, can you forward this idea to the developers? Thanks in advance!

Faster connection or don't scroll the page until it is fully loaded. The problem you are having is probably caused by either the image's size's not being specified or the the images being loaded from different domains, or a combination of both - and the load on the servers being different. The problem might be exacerbated by your ISP, if you're on dialup, where some images might be cached and others aren't - web accelerator type of caching; stuff the user has no control over.
Is this really the best today's IT can do? I'm on a 1Mbit connection, which is not exactly dial-up (not much better by today's standards I guess) but upgrading is not an option right now. Wouldn't it be possible in the future to have FF first load image properties from the server and reserve the space for loading the picture itself?
