I just downloaded the lasted "update" and suddenly EVERY SINGLE WEBSITE I visit, INCLUDING FIREFOX, is giving me a security error:, Secure connection failed, Firefox did not connect.

This is obviously something in the latest download, because the exact same sites have no problem when i open them in Chrome. In fact, it's the ONLY way I can post this problem, because Firefox is preventing me from accessing the Internet entirely.

Please fix this ASAP, or I will have to move permanently to a new browser. I can't afford this kind of disruption to my work.

I was FINALLY able to fix this problem by uninstalling Kaspersky, and then doing a clean reinstall with all default settings. I did NOT activate protection for Firefox. I will do that tomorrow and report back.

My GURU says Kaspersky is the only product that will intercept a ransomware attack, so please insure that Firefox continues to work with Kaspersky. As much as I hated Chrome, I cannot use a browser that won't play nice with Kaspersky.

Thank you for all your help.

I also need to add that following the instructions to disable 'scan encrypted connections' in Kaspersky resulted in my not being able to use MS Edge, AND Outlook stopped sending and receiving email, even after I enabled that function. In other words, my computer was totally FUBARed.
