Bad user-experience when putting a bookmark into an existing folder when there are a lot of folders

I have a long list of bookmark folders and sub-folders. When I add a bookmark on the desktop version of Firefox, I can more or less easily find the folder where I want to move the bookmark to. I say more or less because I think the "Add bookmark" pop-up could be a little big bigger or resizable to more quickly find a folder instead of scrolling until I find the right folder. But this is another issue.

On Android, it is really cumbersome to find a folder in which I want to put a bookmark I added on mobile. This is because, on Firefox Android, the structure/nesting of the bookmark folders is not clear. When you have several folders and most of these folders have sub-folders under them, it becomes hard to find the folder you're looking for. Not only do you need to scroll a lot, because all folders and sub-folders are expanded, but you also don't have any reference point that tells you more or less where you are in your list of bookmark folders. The consequence is that one needs to really concentrate to see where they are and need to scroll a lot if the bookmark folder they're looking for is at the top of the list. Here are my suggestions to improve the user-experience of putting bookmarks in a folder on Android:

1) By default, shrink folders and sub-folders. 2) Provide a search function which allows to more easily search and/or filter a folder/sub-folder by name. 3) Not sure how the nesting appearance could be improved, but maybe add a line going down from folders like those that can be found in a code editor (see image "nesting"). Or, add a visual indicator in front of the folder name to show the level of the folder (such as, "1." for top-level folders, "2." for folders under these, etc.), or something like that.

See firefox-bookmarks.png image for an example of the folders organization on Android.
