Using website buttons
On many, many websites, buttons are unusable. On some, I can't even log in. Clicking the enter, add to cart, reply, etc., nothing happens. Yes, I've tried safe mode and still have the same problem. I've been researching this for several weeks and most sites say to make sure Java is installed. It is installed, but help sites also say Firefox no longer supports Java. OK, but if I can't do banking, order things online, read or make comments, etc., what do I do. IE works, but I so dislike IE so that's not an option. If I reset FF I'll lose my homepage which is my.yahoo and other things I have that I don't want to lose. A partial screen shot:

Then restart. Poke around safe websites. Are there any problems?
I clear cookies twice a day and my cache each night. I've tried safe mode several times in the past weeks and the problem is still there. Hardware Acceleration is off and has been off for as long as I can remember. If you can think of another solution, please let me know.

Try to create a new profile to test if your current profile is causing the problem.
See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
