new tab is not opening when already new tab is opened in another window
I use dual monitors. And a firefox window one each one monitor. If a new tab window is already opened in one window, when i click on new tab icon in the other window, this brings the window (with the new tab) to focus, and nothing else. I want to open new tabs irrespective of the windows i have?

This should be tested by someone with a multi-monitor setup, as I can only verify the New Tab icon in the tab row works with a single press on a single monitor.
Does the issue remain if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode#w_how-to-start-firefox-in-safe-mode (disables Themes and Extensions, which may interfere with UI, but not Plugins like antivirus or Flash)
