How do I report a malware attack using your video download? Avast refused to let it download and after investigating myself, it did prove to be an attack.
An update for Mozilla movie video showed up when I opened Mozilla this morning. I clicked yes, because the videos have been seriously lagging. Avast immediately flashed that it was a virus, so I stopped it from downloading. After coming back from lunch, it did the same thing. The download is showing itself as Video.exe and Avast is describing it as: URL: hxxp://69.4.238.156/14/NewVideoPlayerSetup.exe and Infection: URL:Mal I don't know enough about software to do anything with this, but thought you should be informed as I very rarely get attacks from Mozilla. As a side note, somehow a program called Optimizer Pro seemed to slide onto my computer at the the same time and is trying to download itself with the virus.
Thanks for all the work you do. Mozilla is my favorite browser and you guys do a great job with it.

Most every product Mozilla has is from say a mozilla.org site link.
https://mozillalabs.com/en-US/projects/ https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/products/
The only real video related thing Mozilla has is https://wiki.mozilla.org/Shumway and more info at http://mozilla.github.io/shumway/
The site you downloaded this NewVideoPlayerSetup.exe from was a scam as it uses the inexperience of users and popularity of Mozilla and the Firefox browser to trick people into installing stuff like this.
Next time if you are uncertain you should ask as somebody will then tell you if it is legitimate or not for example.
