Mysatrt is nothing to do with Firefox This problem is not because of a Firefox change it is because you have downloaded and installed unwanted software. In future be careful of what you download try to check out both the download site and the software and also beware of unwanted additional software bundled with whatever it is you do want. There is an addon that can be used to to reset Firefox changes but it is best to remove all of adware or other unwanted software first. The initial step is to look at your Firefox addons and remove any that you did not want I am not a Mac user but you will also need and do the same looking for unwanted software to uninstall. If software was bundled then sorting the installs by date may be a quick method of identifying potentially unwanted software. Windows users do this from the Control Panel. You may have some malware that is harder to find or uninstall and should normally do scans with multiple up-to-date tools. Again I am not a Mac user and not aware of what may be available. Once everything is removed use the ''search reset'' addon, noting that it installs resets Firefox and uninstals itself. You may also need to check the short cut icons, pr launchers for Firefox,yet again something I can do in Windows or Linux but I am not sure how to do that on a Mac.
