Unable to install Java
Java platform/runtime plugin not visible under Firefox/add ons. Java not on control panel/programs and features/uninstall. I have downloaded Java ver. 7 to my downloads file, closed all programs and attempted to install Java with the following results: Install {downloading installer} [Receive msg. program already installed on this computer. would your like to reinstall. Ans "Yes" ] Preparing to remove. Gathering required information. NEXT MESSAGE is Java is already installed on this computer. Would you like to reinstall. This keeps on in a continuous loop. I have tried defrag, registry defrag, disk cleanup, registry cleaner, uninstall firefox. install firefox, temporary file cleaner, file cleaner, internet file cleaner, temporary files cleaner, clear cache, registry fixer and all of the items listed by firefox under help. I have not reinstalled windows 7. Other www sites work OK. Can anyone come up with a solution to installing java in firefox as interactive charts and video does not work in firefox? Thanks

You may be missing some registry keys if Firefox doesn't find the Flash plugin.
Try to uninstall Java with the JavaRa program and reinstall (32 bit) Java.
