I am currently running Firefox 8.0.1 on Windows 7 x 64. Every time I reboot My PC Windows tells me that It can't find the path to start Firefox, that it has been removed, moved or I don't have the required permissions. I have tried uninstalling and updating to the latest version, but of course these require me to reboot the computer and then the same thing happens again. I am running as Administrator. Only one other program was affected in the same way, SUPERAntispyware, which I have removed from computer. Can anyone help please?

Well, the version you are running is extremely out of date. Please Firefox Update Firefox. It shouldn't require a computer restart, only a restart of Firefox.

Now, Firefox shouldn't be giving an error when you start the computer, unless somehow it got placed in your startup items. Can you go to Start > All Programs > Startup and see if it is listed in there?
