My Bookmark Star now can only edit my bookmarks. I can't use it to actually go to a saved bookmark and click on it. I can't add any images to show what's happening.

There are two stars. The one in the address bar area is to add a bookmark or edit the current page's bookmark.

The other one is an optional button to drop the Bookmarks menu (). You can find it in the Customize panel and drag it where you want it (on the main part of the toolbar, not inside the address bar). See: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.

You can also access bookmarks in the sidebar (Ctrl+B) and the toolbar (Ctrl+Shift+B).
