ThunderBird hangs for every few minutes
I am using the ThunderBird for more than 10 years. Since last 2 years ThunderBird is frequently hanging, particularly when a new email is coming it hangs for about 4-5 seconds.
First I used a ThinkPad Core i5, 8GB RAM and it worked great. And I changed it to another new ThinkPad Core i5 and 24 GB RAM and it is continuously hanging (inbuilt RAM is 8GB but I upgraded it to 24GB because of TB hanging issue). Again, just 2 months ago I purchased a new ThinkBook Core i7, 10th Gen, 4.9 Turbo Boost Processor, 512 SSD, 16 GB RAM and for the first 10 days it worked great. But again, after 10 days it is started giving me same hanging problem. I am using IMAP Mail Server (Google).
I think the problem is my email. I am using the same email for more than 6 years and it has 10,000+ emails in the Inbox and 120,000+ emails in the Sent folder (with attachment sizes 50KB to 1MB) and about 1,000+ emails in the other folders. And I have added 3 other email accounts to TB but these has less emails like 1,000-2,000 for all 3 email accounts together. Please help me to solve the TB Hanging issue.

If you run Windows in safe mode, does TB still hang? This will test the effect of startup apps such as security/AV, but there are many other sources of 'hanging':
