Search in the calendar, "Title, Start, End, Category, Location, Status, Calendar Name." You can see that only 7 columns are visible. How can I see the description of the event on the search screen?

Use mouse pointer to hover over an event in the list and a small pop up window appears. The description will be shown at the bottom in that pop up window.

Thanks for the answer. this solution is I already know. But I know, WHEN I SEARCH EVENT, I want the description column to show up in the same list as the other 7 columns. That means, I hope it will show up on the SEARCH SCREEN, not on each popup. If you do it the way you said, I'll have to click through hundreds of events each to find out description. It's too hard, honestly. I want the description to appear at a glance on the search screen. To do that, I need a description column. If you refer to the screenshot, it will be easy to understand what I say.

The 'Description' is not available as a column as you aleady know. I have some events with a description of a few words, but others that have the contents of an email. Description would not be easily displayed in a column as the number of letters etc could amount to a large number.

However, the event search 'contains' 'parameter' method does search on word that is in the description thus helping to reduce the number of search results returned.

I use several key words that are easy to remember when entering a description to help reduce numbers of potential search results. Those key words are never the same as eg: a category.

I located a bug report created 6 months ago which you could support/vote. This bug report mentions 'Tasks' and no 'Description' column, so perhaps you could also add a comment stating what OS you use, version of Thunderbird and ask for same to added to 'Events'. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1589318

Thank you for your one more reply. According to what you said, I understood there is no way to display the Description column on the search screen, until I write a bug report on mozilla.

In my case, I sometimes write my thoughts, information, and impressions in the description of the event. So I wanted to display ALL the events of my calendar through the search screen, and then view description of event at a glance. Because there are events with and without description, it was necessary to check ALL EVENTS. As you said, if I was looking for a specific Description, I would have used 'contains' or 'parameters'.

It is unfortunate for me. I think I should suggest it to mozilla. Thanks again for your answer.
