How to install "regular" Firefox (v66?) and keep Firefox ESR (v60.6.1) running under Win 7 Pro.?
Switched to and have been using Firefox ESR for some time now (was needed for some of the sites I used regularly) but would like to try the "regular" Firefox (current ver) and see if it will work as needed. Don't want to lose ability to use ESR if necessary so would like to have both installed. Can this be done? How? i.e., what steps need to be followed so I don't corrupt current installation etc. Using Windows 7 Professional.

Thanks. This is helpful. I had seen mention that separate profiles must be used for each install but did wonder how that would work across synched devices (PC, laptops, phone, tablet) when different versions were being used. However I am specifically interested in how to best install new/different version without losing access to current version. In my case current is ESR but I want to install "normal" 64bit for regular use. Do I need to do a Custom Install so I can be sure new is put in a different directory? Or would that happen automatically since current is in Program Files (86) but new would be 64 bit (and thus under Program Files)? What about start-up/desktop icons? Other issues?
