How to refresh a View Unread Thread view (what key combination?)
I am looking for a moderately fast way (mouse click or key combination) of Unread, Threaded, Descending.
While keeping up with a large backlog of unread messages in a forum, it is useful to restrict the view to just the unread messages.
As a number of messages are read, or marked read, it would be useful to be able to quickly re-assert the view, as currently those that have just been read are still within the view.
This is on a Win10 machine - I've recently moved to Win10, and Thunderbird, but not found documentation for the equivalent of F5 or whatever for refresh.

I use the Quick filter Bar option 'Show only unread messages' icon looks like a pair of sunglasses. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/quick-filter-toolbar
when selected it will show all unread mail in the selected folder. When I select to read an email, it will remain in view as read. Double click on the Quick filter Bar option 'Show only unread messages' and the view is refreshed to show only unread. If you have threaded option selected and there is more than one unread email in a thread, then it still shows them as threaded.

The key part was to switch on the Quick Filter, and use the 'sunglasses' icon ("unread") from there, rather than using the same icon on the regular column display (which was actually 'sort by read').
Different sunglasses, different rose tinting...
