Unable to view invalid certificate
Usually, I'm able to view certificate info by:
1. Going to «View Page Info» 2. Selecting the Security tab 3. Clicking a «View Certificate» button
In my current version of Firefox, the «View Certificate» button does not show when the certificate is deemed invalid (SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER). Previous versions would show the certificate here, even invalid ones. Is this a bug?

You can open the Certificate Manager and go to the Servers tab. The Servers tab has an "Add Exception" to open the "Add Security Exception" window.
- chrome://pippki/content/exceptionDialog.xul
You can type/paste the domain in the location field on this page and click "Get Certificate" to retrieve the certificate and click the "View" button to inspect the certificate.
Ah, well. There's already other (and better) utilities to fetch and view certificates from any odd host.
I was mainly missing a simple way to look up a certificate (and its issuer chain) from a host that I'm already trying to connect to…
