For the past couple of weeks every time I open up mozilla thunderbird to check emails it says the server has been disconnected. My emails have not updated since first part of November on my laptop and I had to remove the mail app from my IPad because it kept showing error message. Other things on my laptop work fine, the internet and others applications are working just having problem with thunderbird. How can I fix the server issue?

As I understand it, you had the same problem with both your iPad and Thunderbird. Correct?

The server in question is not a server with Firefox, but the e-mail server for your e-mail provider. Chances are they have changed the settings to correctly connect to the server, and those settings need to be updated in Thunderbird and your mail app on the iPad.

If you tell me the part of your e-mail address after the @ symbol, I can look up the correct settings for the server for you, then tell you how to change them in Thunderbird.
