I have two entries for Firefox where stated. They are Mozilla Firefox 42.0 (x86 en-US) and Mozilla Firefox 47.0.1 (x86 en-US). Version 47.0.1 appears to be the current Version.

Is it safe to just uninstall the 42.0 Version or will doing so ruin my Current Version? Please give me easy to understand answers.

Thanks. Richard.

hi richard, this is usually just a displaying glitch and firefox is in fact only installed once on your system. if you hit uninstall next to the 42.0 version this will likely trigger the removal of the current 47.0.1 that you are using instead (since all your data and customizations in firefox won't be affected by a mere uninstall, you could download and install firefox again from www.mozilla.org to "recover").
