I can no longer customize my msn homepage since downloading Firefox 4
My MSN home page has changed since downloading Firefox 4 last week. I used to have a Hotmail box on my home page that previewed my email. Also, several other boxes I had (such as movie times, stock quotes, etc.) have disappeared or no longer show anything. When I click on customize my MSN, it does nothing. I can't add content or get my previous home page back. In previous versions of Firefox, I never had this problem! Answers would be greatly appreciated :)

I guess Mozilla must have fixed the bug because one day this past week, when I went online, my MSN page was back exactly as it used to be & I've had no problems with it since! :D
YAY! I was almost at the point of going to that website & rolling mine back to the previous version. I guess it just took them a few weeks to get it ironed out. But it seems to be working fine now.

Same problem here. I was really stupid "upgrading" to Firefox 4 from 3.5 and I had uninstalled IE. I do not have either IE7 or Firefox 3.5 or 3.6 to go to IE8 or IE9 as a solution. I would gladly downgrade back to Firefox 3.5 or 3.6 if I could, but zero info on how to revert on Firefox webpage.
I hope Firefox finds a solution. I have used My MSN as my homepage for about 13 years and really do not want to change because of hotmail, etc.

I too have this issue....I opened my home page today, April 5th to find MSN totally changed. I don't like the new changes at all. When I select my cities weather it keeps on losing the city and reverts back to the deafault "select your city pull down screen"
Also I used to like having certain boxes I enjoyed viewing like Gadgets and lifesytle and a couple more.
DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO REVERT BACK TO THE OLD MSN PAGE THAT I HAD ON APRIL 4th??
You can download Firefox 3.6.16 at filehippo.com.

Thank you (UCDelt) for the information. Could you tell us a little more about "filehippo.com"?!? I'm a little leery about going to sites I don't know & downloading anything! You used to be able to go to Mozilla and roll your browser back to a version that worked. Do you know why we can't do that anymore? Thanks so much for taking the time to answer! :D
Moving forward does not seem to be a good idea with FF4, yet here I am. I cannot make changes to my homepage on my.msn. A solution would be nice. Seems that many of us have the same issue.

So far, it doesn't seem that anyone has a real answer or solution to this problem. I'm still dealing with it. I'd really like to know whether anyone knows anything about how safe "filehippo" is. If I knew it were safe, I sure would go there & download my old Firefox, which worked just fine! I don't understand why they put out these updates when they don't work right!? Today, I "updated" my "shipping assistant" from USPS & lo and behold, now that won't work....can't even calculate the postage anymore! :(
I had problems with my MSN homepage, too, so I've already gone back to 3.6.16. It was very easy to do. I simply downloaded it from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html I ran it as an update and I'm back to were I was with no problems. It took about 2 minutes and I didn't need to delete version 4.0 or any other files. This may work for you, too, - but I don't know enough about these things to guarantee it.

I have the same question - How do I get my msn browser back, and my hotmail, etc.? .... And this is Jan. 2012. So this problem that was reported in April has not been fixed or resolved yet?
Per my answer, 8 mo. ago, I've had no problems. So, I'm not sure what the problem would be now. I've just recently updated Firefox to the newest version (in the past week) & everything is working fine.
However, now that I'm totally spoiled by MSN, my Verizon isp has decided to cancel their contract with MSN Premium, so everything pertaining to my using MSN (including my virus protection) is due to come to a halt on March 12th, 2012 unless I'm willing to pay extra for using MSN now!!!! It's ALWAYS something....too bad Mozilla couldn't come up with a program like MSN Premium with virus protection, etc. all built in!
I hope the rest of you manage to find a solution to your problem. The newest version of Firefox seems to be working just fine with no bugs for me, so far....Good Luck to all of you :)
