Same Problem
Guys I had the same problem, I found a solution on another forum that seemed to work for me-hope it does for you too:

IMTY - that was it! The only change is Tools, Options, Network.
You're a genius, thanks!"
ok my problem is back sorry all, I thought that solution I posted directly above this post would work.
if anyone found something better please post it here.
Ok I came across another solution, so far so good, hopefully it'll keep working...doing this for the benefit of others who've suffered with this annoying pop-up like me:
In the URL window of firefox type about:config
Change this setting in firefox
browser.sessionstore.postdata;
Change from a 0 to 1
Hi i have same issues since updating firefox and all im doing is running a game in facebook which doesnt need refreshing, have tried this solution tools,advanced,network and no joy also tried the browser.sessionstore.postdata; solution also with no satisfactory solutions so im guessing its remove firefox and install previous version and stop it auto updating.

There is a high chance that there is something on the facebook page (like the ads) that is refreshing and causing the browser to spazz.
Are you running the new beta and if so, did you have the issue before?
I can't be of any help, either, but it did start happening after I installed Firefox 4.0. Perhaps sharing that information will help someone else solve the problem...
