Bookmarks - Not exported
Hi,
So, like a proper idiot I forgot to export my bookmarks!!!
I no longer have access to the computer, but I did remove the hard drive.
I was wondering if there is a way for me to copy any files, or folders from the original hard drive which I have connected via a usb dock, into the new computer?
Many thanks,

For quick reference, this article as the steps to turn on viewing of hidden files and folders:
Then if the external drive is "D" you would look in
D:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\
Each profile folder name has a random part then a dot then a readable part (for example z14fs8ta.default-release). Each profile folder has a bookmarkbackups folder which would have compressed backups with the creation date in the file name.
Can you find anything that looks useful?

If you can attach that hard drive via an USB interface then you should be able to recover the bookmarks and possibly other personal data.

Location used for the main profile that keeps your personal data (Root Directory on about:profiles).
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>

Note that in Windows "AppData" (Mac: ~/Library; Linux: ~/.mozilla) is a hidden folder.

Cor-el & Jscher2000 - perfect, I was able to find a fairly recent backup which contained the bookmarks and imported them. Very happy to have them back now.
Thank you for your help.
