Just trying to view my stats on Twitter. I have also received this msg on a couple other sites, but don't recall now. Sometimes I just go to Chrome to view those sites otherwise blocked by FF.
How to fix/stop/override this FF action? Win7 pro (latest), FF Quantum (latest)
Thx.

There is security software like Avast/AVG, Kaspersky, BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure connections and send their own certificate. Sometimes Mcafee. If you are running any of the above software please check their community forum for a work around to apply settings.
These pages are also for the errors you may have besides relating to the above.
Here is my reply: Was never a problem before, so presume FF is trying to be "extra cautious." other browsers, Chrome, for example, show the website(s) just fine. That leads me to believe it's something with FF. All I want to know is how to tell FF to stop being "so protective." :-)
Some of those links just go on and on without specific steps. TMI! Thx.
Sorry it does not work that way. Guessing will keep you here for days and we will not get anything fixed.
So are you running any of the listed software in previous post ?
Have you gone over the URL ?
I will skip Safe Mode since your in a rush : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 61.0.1 with a Full Version Installer
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
Nothing's easy, I understand that. May take a couple weeks before I can go through all that. Of course, it's more involved in that due to my FF add-ons, etc. Naturally, that's no guarantee the issue will be resolved. Yes, running Kaspersky. Thanks for the suggestions!
Then Kaspersky is the issue as per my 1st reply to you.
My last reply takes 7mins, and it does not touch your Profile nor your Extensions just the Firefox Program Files as your Profle is in another place.

That's the same message I received with Weather.COD.Edu college weather site when some of the product links go to the http://kamala.cod.edu site. While it may be an Anti-Virus program at fault, it can also be a Privacy Extension:
Do you have the DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials Extension? For some reason, DuckDuckGo wants to switch the unsecured kamala.cod.edu site to a secure one (https). How can the Extension expect to do so if the site is not setup to be secure?
That's when the site fails with that message. I turned OFF DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials for that site and navigating the other parts of the site works now.

Never heard of that program.

Never heard of that program.
It's either a Privacy/Security Extension or your Anti-Virus program. It should be easy to temporarily turn-off each Extension and your Anti-Virus program. This testing should only take minutes and be quick and easy.
