Toolbar buttons disappeared from left of address window.
Firefox suddenly jumped into full page mode, making it impossible to navigate anywhere, no dropdown menus, no access to the dock, etc. Finally got it back to normal, but realized all the icons (sizing, home, & a couple others I can't remember at the moment. I've tried going to the customize menu, but those icons are nowhere to be found, nor does clicking on "restore default" do anything. How can I get them back?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
Type about:customizing<enter> in the address bar. Look for Show / Hide Toolbars at the bottom left.
There is also a Restore Defaults button at the bottom middle.
What buttons used to show on the Navigation Toolbar to the left of the location/address bar that are now missing?
There aren't any buttons apart from the Back and Forward button in that position by default.
Home, zoom in & zoom out, and there may have been one or two others. And I didn't say it was only buttons there by default.
Did you check the "3-bar" Firefox menu button drop-down list to see if you can find the buttons there as that is where to zoom buttons are?
Some extensions may also use the Add-on bar to add their buttons. In case of the latter you need an extension that restores the Add-on bar.
