How to get the Ctrl-Shift-K filter to be "sticky" as I move from folder to folder

Hi,

When I type in a search term in the Ctrl-Shift-K filter, Thunderbird only shows the messages that satisfy that search term. But when I change the folder (for example, from Inbox to Sent), the search term gets cleared.

Is there any way I can get the search term to remain in the box and be applicable as I switch folders?

Thanks.

Ok. I found it myself. That filter is called the Quick Filter Toolbar. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/quick-filter-toolbar

If I use the pin button (extreme left of toolbar), I get exactly what I want: the filter parameters are maintained across folders.

And the best part is that if I click that button, it remains clicked even on restart of TB.
