I never have a blank line in my Firefox address bar. It always says the same thing which I have to delete before I get a blank space in which to enter the web site I want to go to. The bar will be blank if you use the built-in "Firefox Home" page or a blank page. But an extension is replacing the page. Do you want to disable the extension and return to the built-in page?
