Hello, I read some great things about Thunderbird and I decided to move my email account out of OUTLOOK. ALl went fine at first; I have emails on the AOL server dating back to 2013. However, when we got half way through 2017, the emails stopped coming down. I suspect it is because VERIZON migrated over to AOL (i think) about this time period. Now, I get two different errors: either (1) RETR command did not succeed. Error retrieving a message. Mail server pop.verizon.net responded: [SYS/TEMP] Server error - Please try again later or (2) there are no new email messages to download. I've tried changing the changing the configuration from POP3 to IMAP using the settings Ive found online, but it doesn't seem to help. PleASE note, I can send messages from THUNDERBIRD without any issue, but every email (including new ones) will down download into THUNDERBIRD. any ideas here? THANKS!

What does this mean? Please provide a link. If in doubt check the support site of your email provider.
