Thunderbird email is set up on my desktop computer. When I am away from the office I use my laptop and need to check my email. Is there a way to sync the email on both computers or to check the email online like Gmail?

There is no Thunderbird email. You get email from your email provider.

If you want to check your email from multiple devices use IMAP instead of POP.
