When I upgraded my Mac desktop to 10.10.1, Thunderbird crashed when I tried to open in afterwards. (There was a window that came up for a split second, so I took a quick screenshot before getting the crash window. Not sure if it's of help, but you can view the image I included below.) My laptop (Mac 10.9) has Thunderbird running fine on it. After spending 3 hours scouring the net for answers, I've found none. I even tried uninstalling/reinstalling on my desktop, but Thunderbird is still crashing. What are the compatibility issues between Thunderbird and Mac OS X? Is it plug-ins, add-ons, cache or something else? Thanks in advance for a fix/help. =)

For some reason the picture of my screenshot won't load. It just says "Checking your add-ons for compatibility with this version of Thunderbird." That is quickly followed by Thunderbird crashing. And then I tried to locate Crash reports that are supposed to be stored in ~/Library/Thunderbird/Crash Reports/submitted/ ... there is nothing there.

Is there any new solutions to this anywhere yet? I couldn't pull a crash ID.
