If you can log in to your Windows Live account, you can change the password here:

https://account.live.com/summarypage.aspx

There is a "Change" link to the right of Pasword: ******

Does it work?

Although you are wise to change your password, you should know that spammers use email programs that let them "forge" your name and address as the sender. So they might not really be logging in to your account now, and they might continue spamming afterwards.

Thanks jscher2000 for answering my problem,. If a spammer is forging my name and address changing my password won't fix it will it?, so what is the answer do I close my account and open another

I don't think it's worth closing your account since then you would have to let everyone know you changed your address.

Some people have said that deleting their address book stopped the spamming in their case. (Of course, try to save the actual information somewhere.)

Thanks I will try to delete my address book, notice I said try I am not too good at this computer thing, I appreciate you helping me.
