Norton is on my toolbar & I can't get rid of it. Also, my back button is missing & how can I get it back?

Chosen solution

Another way to remove Norton products is to use the Norton removal tool, for details of how to do that see http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20080710133834EN&ln=en_US

To uninstall Norton, you need to use the add/remove programs option in the Windows control panel.

  • From the Start menu, select Control Panel
  • Open the list of installed programs:
    • If in icon view, click Programs and Features
    • If in category view, under "Programs", click Uninstall a program
  • In the list of programs select Norton, and then click Uninstall

For the back button, see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Back+and+forward+or+other+toolbar+items+are+missing

I don't know how to get to the windows control panel. I see nothing like that on my screen. I couldn't do anything with the back button either cause I can't find what is necessary to do that. Everything I need seems to have gone missing.
