i have already downloaded all the plugins found in the suggested list such as adobe reader, flash, java, etc. but nothing works.

In my other computer, i can see the videos at the center page of www.nytimes.com. But with this refurbish computer that i just bought and after installing mozilla, i can no longer see the videos at the center page of www.nytimes.com, my home page. While in IE8, there they are, the small videos are shown & played when clicked.

what do i need to download and where. please send link. thanks.

Your above posted system details shows two Flash plugin(s).

  • Shockwave Flash 6.0 r47
  • Shockwave Flash 10.1 r82

You need to remove the old Flash 6.0 r47 version, most likely installed in the plugins folder in the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugins).
