My inbox emails are not opening correctly. When I open an unread email, it opens as if has come from me in a Send format with a message at the bottom, saying "A unique identity matching the From address was not found. The message will be sent using the using the current From field and settings using the identity Lucy Tilney <[email protected]>". I've attached a screenshot

I sent an email earlier and requested a copy to be sent to me. Since then, all my new emails are opening as I have sent it to myself. Could that be the cause?

It's extremely inconvenient and means that I can't open any links included in the emails or reply to them.

Can someone help me urgently with this?

Thank you.

Hi Can you add your operating system (Windows, iOS) and version of Thunderbird to the question? There are similar issues on this forum, some relate to Mac, some to Windows. One recent but the solution is not confirmed yet - if it you are on TB 91.4 and this looks exactly like what you are experiencing you could add to that question and see if a fix was found. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1360856
