Hello this is my first post here, after days of searching.

Thunderbird 78.2.2 on Windows 10 Pro v1909, does not download, at all, Gmail messages which have already been read in my iphone. This may have something to do with email marked as read by iphone. I can only download emails which have not been accessed by my iphone. Gmail messages which *have* been downloaded in my iphone, but have not been read, come up in my Thunderbird.

I have just reactivated the "Enable POP for all mail" setting under "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" setting in gmail.

This is becoming very troublesome, I'd very much appreciate assistance.

Thanks

Dean

If the account is POP in TB, you probably have to enable recent mode:

Apart from the fact that the vast majority of users don't use email clients, rather than webmail, most users accessing accounts on multiple devices use IMAP settings, which are the default for account setup with most mobile devices.
