Dropdowns no longer work in Firefox for any site
I have read the earlier Q&As about dropdown problems. All solutions involve making changes to settings. The only way to access settings is to use the DROPDOWN icon in the upper right corner of the window, which because it is a DROPDOWN, does not work. The irony is inescapable.

What settings were you thinking of changing?
Could you check the following pages to help establish the scope of the problem:
- "select" form controls => https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_select (example on the right side)
- hover menus => at the top of a page on this forum, hover the mouse ovrer your user name to drop a menu; does it drop and do items on it work?
- scripted menus => the category bar on https://www.jeffersonscher.com/ttw/ has scripts that run on mouseover; do the menu drop and do items on them work?

Restarting Firefox resolved the problem. Thanks for your help.
