I keep getting error ve_vms_connect_failed when trying to watch video programs. Any ideas?

I've been trying to watch videos on AcornTV to be specific and I keep getting the error ve_fms_connect_failed message. I've reloaded flashplayer, it suggests it maybe the firewall, but it says settings are wrong. I haven't changed anything, but this started happening after an update from both Firefox and Flashdrive. Below is the message I get.

Video Stream Unavailable

The error you have encountered is caused by a failure to connect to vital video content services. The leading cause of this issue has been found to be firewall settings, or other services within a user's network that block key ports or domains.

Below is the list of ports and domains that must be available to your player. If you are in a corporate network, check with your IT department to ensure these are all available.

Required ports:

   1935
   443
   80

Required domains:

   *.brightcove.com
   *.brightcove.co.jp
   bcove.me
   *.o.brightcove.com
   brightcove04.o.brightcove.com
   hls.ak.o.brightcove.com
   uds.ak.o.brightcove.com
   brightcove.vo.llnwd.net
   *.llnwd.net
   *.edgefcs.net
   *.edgesuite.net
   *.akamaihd.net
   *.analytics.edgekey.net

Here are some additional steps you can take that may resolve the issue:

Try connecting using a different browser. Your current browser may have settings or plugins that are blocking the Required Ports mentioned above.
Try connecting to a different network if an alternate is available. This issue is often network-specific.
If possible, try viewing the video from a mobile device. Often only Flash playback will be blocked or will fail.

This is an issue with Adobe Flash player, so you may get better results by asking this question on their forums: https://forums.adobe.com/community/flashplayer/using_flashplayer

It looks like this is a known issue, caused by Firewall software. See https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1264768

I went in and worked on the Firewall solutions several different times. I even deleted and restored both adobe flashdrive and Mozilla. It still doesn't work. I finally went over to check whether it was my computer, the system or what, by downloading Google Chrome and Explorer. The only system I can get the video to work is Chrome. I can get YouTube on all 3 and they work. I can get myCBS videos to work on all 3, but they're choppy on Mozilla. Any ideas?

This is because Chrome does not use Adobe Flash Player. Chrome uses something called Pepper Flash, maintained by Google (not Adobe). The issues you are experiencing are Adobe Flash Player issues. You should be able to get assistance with these issues on the Adobe forums.
