Hi. For many, many months now I've had Bing as my default browser when typed into the URL Bar. Now it's gone to Yahoo! and I cannot change it even going to keyword.url in the about:config settings area. Interestingly, all of my search engines (from the search box) are gone. All gone.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Mostly I just want to put Bing back in my URL Bar searches, and get rid of stubborn Yahoo!.

you just need to follow some steps below: 1. tap on open menu option at right most corner of your firefox 2.click on options 3.tap on search button on above of panal. 4. choose default search engine where you have to choose bing 5.click on ok.

The keyword.URL pref is no longer supported in current releases, so you can reset this pref via the right-click context menu.

Try to delete the search.json file and possible search-metadata.json and search.sqlite files in the Firefox profile folder to reset the search engines to the default.

Firefox will rebuild the search.json file from the default search engines in the "browser\searchplugins" folder in the Firefox program folder and the searchplugins folder in the Firefox profile folder.
